Comprehensive Eye Exams at Crown: $95

At Crown our Optometrists are checking more than just your glasses prescription. Your eyes are a window into which we can detect eye conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, as well as health conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and many others. We offer leading-edge technology to assist in everything from the measurement of your eyeglass prescription to the health of your corneas, retinas, and everything in between.

In children, more emphasis is placed on ensuring both eyes are working together and that undetected vision issues do not affect learning and development, including school performance.

Our doctors are here to make sure your eyes are healthy, offer you tailored advice about your eye care needs, help manage certain eye diseases, and to refer you to an Ophthalmologist if needed.

Digital Retinal Imaging and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

Our Digital Retinal Camera records a high-resolution digital image of the retina, while our Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) provides a detailed cross-sectional measurement of the retinal tissues. This advanced instrument assists with the early detection and monitoring of eye conditions like diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and many others. In general, the earlier a condition can be detected and treated, the better the visual outcome.

Our doctors recommend Digital Imaging and OCT as a baseline for all our patients, as well as at routine check-ups to detect changes from year to year. It is especially important for any patient with health conditions that increase their risk of eye diseases, a family history of these conditions, or high eyeglass prescriptions.
